Book Your Alignment Call

A real conversation about whether this is the right fit for where you are right now.

You’ve Done Everything Right.
And Something Still Hasn’t Moved.

You’ve done the work. Therapy. Journaling. The retreats, the courses and the books. You can name every pattern. You’ve traced every one of them all the way back.

And still — something hasn’t moved.

In the quiet moments, you keep thinking:

  • I don’t even know what I want anymore.
  • I’m always in my head.
  • I just want to feel like myself again.

That gap — between how clearly you can describe yourself and how disconnected you actually feel — is what no amount of insight has been able to close.

Because understanding yourself and trusting yourself are not the same thing.

There is a part of you the mind alone will never reach.

Creativity becomes the doorway back to the part of you that words cannot reach.

It’s Not That You Haven’t Done Enough.

Therapy gave you insight. Journaling gave you clarity. Self-help gave you frameworks. All of it worked — to a point.

But every one of those tools speaks the same language: thinking. Understanding. Naming. Tracing.

And the part of you that’s gone quiet doesn’t speak that language.

You can’t think your way back to a part of yourself that went silent — because thinking was what silenced it.

That’s not your fault. It’s the ceiling of every cognitive tool.

There is a different way in.

The shift begins when you stop trying to solve yourself and allow yourself to experience.

What shifts is not what you know:
it’s how you experience yourself.

01

Three weeks after the retreat, you are back home. It’s a normal Tuesday. Someone asks what you want for the weekend — and you answer without overthinking.

02

You create something — a meal, a sketch, a decision — and you don’t stop to evaluate it. The inner critic is still there — but it is no longer in control.

03

You can feel the difference between what you want and what you think you should want — and for the first time in years, you trust the first one.

You Haven’t Lost Yourself. You’ve Outgrown the Version You’ve Been Playing.

From the outside, everything still works. The career. The relationships. The life you’ve built with intention.

But inside, something keeps surfacing in the quiet moments —

“Is this actually the life I was meant to live?
Or is this the life I built to survive?”

That question isn’t a crisis. It’s a signal.

There is a version of you that hasn’t had space to exist yet. Not a better version. A more honest one.

The Letting Go Art Experience™

I Know This Place.
I Lived It.

For years, I did everything right. From the outside, my life looked put together. But inside, something had gone quiet.

In my twenties, I started losing my hearing because of cholesteatoma. I adapted and kept going, until everything collapsed at once: health issues, family life, and a deep sense of lostness.

I tried everything: therapy, books, and healing work. Nothing reached what was missing. Until one moment landed:

Trust. And let go.

I followed it. I gave myself one rule: every week, I had to make something, anything, and bring it back to therapy. That changed everything. I started hearing myself in a way thinking never allowed.

Art wasn’t the goal. It was the way in.

Over nine years, I’ve refined this process with hundreds of people who had tried everything else. When you stop analyzing and start creating, something shifts that understanding alone can’t touch.

My name is Priscila Soares, Artist, Certified Art Life Coach, Certified Breathwork Facilitator, and creator of The Letting Go Art Experience.

For nine years, I’ve guided hundreds of people through this work in the Bay Area, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Most were not artists. Most came skeptical. Most left changed.

I know this work from the inside, because it is how I found my way back to myself.

The Method

So What Is The Letting Go Art Method™?

This is not an art class. It’s a structured three-phase process that uses creativity to reach the part of you that thinking alone has never been able to touch.

I
Retreat participants creating art together around a shared table
Phase One

Expression & Awareness

You begin creating without needing it to be good. What emerges is everything you’ve been holding. The canvas becomes a mirror.

II

Phase Two

Stillness & Listening

Once what has been running becomes visible, the process slows. You stop generating and start receiving. You begin to hear the voice underneath all the superficial ones.

III

Phase Three

Integration & Embodiment

What surfaces in the first two phases has to be grounded — or it disappears within weeks. Through voice work and intentional integration, what you experienced becomes something you carry in your body.

What you carry home is a direct, embodied relationship to your own inner voice.
The Location

And Why Playa Hermosa?

The Pacific coast of Costa Rica has a way of softening people. The sound of the ocean regulates the nervous system. The warm air. The open space. The absence of the stimuli that keep you in your head all day.

This place is part of the process. You’ll feel it even before you pick up a brush.

The
Guarantee

The Letting Go Art Experience Guarantee

The fear I hear most often from people who feel called to this retreat is: “What if I go — and come home exactly the same?”

If you give yourself fully to the process and within thirty days nothing in your relationship with yourself has shifted, I’ll work with you personally through up to three private sessions at no additional cost, until something does.

What Past Participants
Have Said

“I went from feeling like my life was behind me… to feeling alive, creative, and connected again. Something in me completely reopened.”

Chantal Derenesse · Los Angeles

“I came for a retreat. I didn’t expect it to unlock a childhood trauma around my creativity. And finally release it.”

Diana Tenes · Vallejo

“I came in trying to get art right. I left knowing I didn’t need to. What happened in between changed how I see myself.”

Glenn Kelsey · Walnut Creek
Got Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions.

Do I need to be an artist or creative person to attend?
No. Most participants describe themselves as not creative — or as someone who used to create and stopped. The art is a tool for accessing yourself, not a performance.
I’ve done a lot of personal work already. How is this different?
This works at a different level than cognitive or language-based approaches. The shift isn’t conceptual — it’s felt in the body.
Is this safe?
The container is structured, the process is sequenced, and integration is built into every day. Safety is the foundation everything else is built on.
What if I’m not sure I’m ready?
Readiness is something we explore together. The Alignment Call is not a commitment, just a conversation.
How do I get to Playa Hermosa?
The nearest major airport is Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José. Playa Hermosa is approximately a 1.5–2 hour drive.
Are meals included?
Yes. All meals are included throughout the six nights, and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
What is the cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable. Travel insurance that covers trip cancellation is strongly recommended.

Are You Ready for
the Next Step?

This retreat is for you if

  • You feel disconnected from your creativity, your voice, or the aliveness you remember
  • You’ve spent years giving everything to others and lost track of what you actually want
  • You don’t consider yourself creative — or stopped creating years ago
  • You’ve built the life you were supposed to build and still feel far from yourself
  • You’ve done the inner work — and something still hasn’t moved at the felt level
  • You’re ready for an embodied shift, not more understanding

This retreat is not for you if

  • You’re looking for a creative vacation or wellness getaway
